An essential pre-treatment spray for chemical services that isolates and neutralizes excess minerals and metals in the hair, preventing adverse reactions during lightening and other chemical processes.

How to Use:

  • Use as the first step in the Chromaplex treatment service.
  • Ideal for pre-colour preparation.
  • Can replace water spray before applying Molecular Mist.

Benefits:

  • Acts as a magnet pulling metals & minerals out of the hair, reducing build up
  • Delivers more vibrant, shiny and even colour results 
  • Helps protect the hair fibre before colour, balayage or lightening services 
  • Allows the formula to penetrate into the hair fibre
  • Helps isolate built up minerals and metals within the hair to prevent chemical reactions with lightening and colour products

Directions:

  1.   Spray Chroma Prep onto dry hair in sections before chemical services. Wait 4 minutes for absorption.
  2.  For optimal results, follow with CHROMAPLEX #6 Molecular Mist, and wait another 4 minutes before continuing with your usual coloring process.
  3.  After processing, shampoo with CHROMAPLEX #4 Bond Shampoo, skipping conditioner.
  4.  Towel dry and apply CHROMAPLEX #2 Bond Sealer for 4 minutes, rinse, then style as usual.
